von Briesen & Roper, s.c. announced continued expansion of its Chicago Office with three attorneys joining the Firm: Linnea A. Agner, Thomas J. Burns and Abosede Odunsi.
Linnea A. Agner is an Associate in the Trusts and Estates Section. Agner focuses her practice on estate and succession planning with an emphasis on tax minimization. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association. Agner received a J.D. from UIC John Marshall Law School and a B.S. from Elmhurst University.
Thomas J. Burns is a Shareholder in the Litigation and Risk Management Group. Burns has over 25 years of litigation and trial experience and focuses his practice on product liability, mass tort, environmental and toxic tort. Burns is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute. He received a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago and a B.A. from John Carroll University.
Abosede Odunsi is a Shareholder in the Trusts and Estates Section. Odunsi focuses her practice on estate planning, tax planning, probate administration and guardianship matters. She holds an LL.M. in Taxation (Wealth Transfer and Legacy Planning Certificate) from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, received a Financial Planning Certificate Program from DePaul University and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin. Odunsi is a member of the American and Chicago Bar Associations, Chicago Estate Planning Council, Black Women Lawyers’ Association and the Professional Advisory Committee of the Chicago Foundation for Women.
