Summer may be winding down, but there are still plenty of fun things to do in Milwaukee and surrounding communities. • Milwaukee’s Original Oktoberfest (Heidelberg Park at the Bavarian Bierhaus, Glendale)
Every Thursday through Sunday from September 1st through October 1st, the Bavarian Bierhaus invites visitors to enjoy traditional biers, German and Bavarian food, and live music at what is considered to be Milwaukee’s oldest and most authentic gathering of its kind.
  • Oktoberfest in Downtown Historic Cedarburg – October 1st & 2nd, Cedarburg’s Oktoberfest offers traditional German foods, specialty beers and wines, live music, and silly contests (including best Lederhosen/Dirndl), sauerkraut eating, German spelling bee, and the Masskrugstemnen (beer stein holding).
